MUSIC
Travis' latest album is an electronic album which samples sounds from movies, video games and tv shows and puts them in a blender.
Inspired by the works of Nick Bertke/Pogo, Travis remixes such sources as 'Puss In Boots: The Last Wish', 'LEGO Island', 'Luca', 'Would I Lie To You?' and many others; and creates remixes that capture the spirit of the shows/movies.

This album is a follow up to his very first Spotify Release: 'The Search For My Inner Jazz'. The new album. 'I've Found My Inner Jazz' sees Travis explore his favourite jazz standards in his own instrumental style. Featuring influences from Jacob Collier and Jake Shimabukuro; the album contains his signature touch on not only the piano, but other instruments.
Only recorded in a month, you can hear ideas flowing from one instrument to the next as if there are multiple musicians playing alongside him.
The pieces included in the album are from his favourite composers, such as Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, George Duke, Bill Evans and Miles Davis
Therefore, throughout this album as you listen; you may get the sense that Travis has finally found: His Inner Jazz.
Travis' EP, 'Dusty Notes', is a collection of forgotten electronic projects that he found on an old hard drive. Combining vintage style analogue synthesisers, drum machines and old samples from his ever growing vinyl collection; This album aims to capture the imperfections and nostalgia that vinyl records and tape cassettes hold.
Tracks like 'dusty notes', 'Turbocharger' and 'Il Canal Grande' take influence from hiphop artists such as J Dilla and modern jazz musicians like Jacob Collier. 'Tryin' To Be Funky' on the other hand takes the hiphop genre further by using classic breaks from vintage soul and funk records, giving a nod to famous soul singers and performers of the past. 'The Eternal Dreamer' takes a look at the Synthwave genre, a style of electronic music influenced by Georgio Moroder and the sound of the 80s. His take on EDM with 'Give Music A Chance' is a tribute to his favourite fusion musicians like George Duke and Stanley Clarke (who are even sampled in the track).
The EP is now available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
This album was a University project that retold the true story of a 600 mile journey across Alaska in the winter of 1925. Sled dogs were chosen to travel from Nome to Nenana to collect medicine to cure patients in the town of Nome from an outbreak of Diphtheria.
A musher named Leonard Seppala was chosen to bring back the medicine from Nenana. Unfortunately, temperatures were dropping rapidly and Seppala's team got horribly lost on the Yukon River. Gunnar Kaasen and his lead dog Balto were chosen to rescue the team and brought back the cargo to the struggling town. Balto became so famous that he later had a statue made of him in Central Park, New York City. The story has even been adapted to books, TV and animation.
'Endurance. Fidelity. Intelligence.' however aims to retell the story faithfully for those who seek adventure.
The album is now available for streaming on Spotify.
In 2017, Travis decided to create an EP based on John Steinbeck's 'Of Mice And Men'.
Travis' favourite novel tells the story about two friends, George and Lennie, in the Great Depression. In a world full of discrimination, racism, poverty and violence, They've got nothing but each other.
Travis' look on the story is somewhat relatable as one of the main characters has learning difficulties. Travis feels like he's captured the torment that Lennie goes through perfectly through the soundtrack and intense sound design.
Overall, the album is not only an insight on tragic effects of The Great Depression; it's also a personal look on the human condition.
The album is now available for streaming on Spotify.
